(This one shift creates instant alignment around a common goal).
2. Your contract holders what to see progress – Recovery Alignment will help you get unstuck from a rigid medical model of treatment that is just not enough when it comes to truly helping people get their lives back from addiction and mental illness. Increase client outcomes and increase staff retention by this proven pathway I call Recovery Alignment . (It's not what you're doing, it's how you're doing it.)
3 . Uncover the biggest misconception about health care integration that is keeping you stuck in a model that is expensive and stresses your staff out. Recovery Alignment will show you how to bring physical health and behavioral health into alignment. Your agency will be the one EVERYONE wants to work for once you sort this out. (No one is talking about this because they don’t know how to fix it. I do!)

How Does Recovery Alignment work?
Step 1 – assessment
Using the Yale Recovery Knowledge Inventory, we will create an on-line survey each staff person will take. Comprehensive participation in the survey will result in an accurate report of the agency’s strengths and opportunities to align recovery principles with personnel and other agency wide practices. (The survey takes less than five minutes to complete). Mary Jadwisiak will create a customized report from that survey with recommendations and highlights of current strengths.
Step 2 – commitment
Your agency’s Recovery Team, consisting of a chosen leader from each department, will work from that report to create a department goal and actions steps. Each agency customizes this process to fit what works for their culture. Perhaps you want to use an existing committee or your management team. We want this to be as customized as possible.
Step #3 – engagement
The plan is deployed and supported by expert coaches. Throughout this 3-month process we will have weekly clinics for consultation and support of the Recovery Team. Clinic topics are: Mission/Vision Alignment; Relationships; and Operationalizing Recovery. Each clinic is designed to coach you through implementation issues that may arise or advise you on next steps.
